Five units are awarded to each class that is successfully completed at the semester. Classes are taught in a block schedule. Students in 9th through 11th grades are required to enroll in six classes each semester.  Most classes are year long; few changes are made at the semester. Twelfth grade students are permitted to enroll in a minimum of five classes.  Grades and credits are assigned in February and June.
