The RUHS Band and Dance Guard opened their competitive season with a strong performance at West HS this past Saturday. Both groups placed second in their division with the Band receiving first place rankings from 3 of the 5 judges. The band competes next at Rowland HS on October 17.

The RUHS Band nd Sance Guard continued their competitive season with 2 strong outings the last 2 weekends.

 

On October 17, the Band traveled to Rowland High School, bringing home a Second Place award for the Dance Guard and 3rd Place awards for the Band and Percussion.

 

This past weekend took the ensemble to Mayfair High school where the Band and Guard garnered First Place awards and Percussion Third Place. By winning their division at this contest, the Band qualifies to perform in the Southern California Judging Association's Field Championships in November.

 

The band performs next at this Friday's Football game and then at Sierra Vista High School on November 7th.
